Courtney & Sawyer | ENGAGEMENT

Courtney and Sawyer's engagement shoot fell on a beautifully warm, sunny spring day in Columbus, Ohio. The couple and I worked together to design this shoot as a celebration of their love for music, vintage decor and inspired styling. All of those elements joined with their sweet, quiet connection together made for the perfect evening.

With their style and broad talent, I can only imagine how amazing their upcoming Taylor Mansion Wedding will surely be! Sawyer is the guitarist for Ohio-based Wolf Ram Heart and the lovely Courtney is the creative eye behind Blue Button Photography.

The oversized gold felt armchair from my mom's Powell shop, The Market at Serendip, was the perfect prop for the shoot.

Sawyer was given vintage cameras from his late Grandfather who was a photographer. For a couple with their talent and love for the arts, I can imagine what a special heirloom these would be to have.

At last, after an excited and rushed couple of weeks of traveling, shooting and visiting, I'm happy to share this past week's Polaroid of the Week series. From a studio set at M3 in Miami, the bluegrass hills of Indiana and Kentucky and the calm quietness that can be found in Powell, Ohio my days were filled with visual variety!
