Elise Hanna | Artist Portraits

A few weeks back, when photographing Elise and her wonderful family, she and I broke away to create some beautiful portraits of this wonderful artist.

I came across Elise Hanna's work many months ago when I was researching photographers to reach out to in South Florida in anticipation of our big move. I instantly feel in love with her work- from the compositions and color to the genuine descriptiveness- her work just spoke to me. After contacting her, she and I quickly connected and began planning a session to document her and her family. My excitement grew for this session inspired by the aesthetic of Anthropologie and the feel of Palm Beach Florida living. Sporting impeccable style and the flawless makeup artistry of Shanna Neece of Picture Perfect Makeup, Elise Hanna was a delight to photograph!

Elise Hanna and I met (through email) a few months back, just shortly after I settled into our new life in South Florida. She was also a photographer in South Florida; I had fallen in love with her work and wanted to reach out to her. Soon after, she mentioned to me she and her family would be packing up thier lives and moving away from the State of Florida. So as a way to commemorate the life they'd built in the sunshine state (and the addition of their new precious baby) she asked if I could photograph them.  I have so enjoyed getting to know Elise over these months and being able to photograph her and her wonderful was a true honor for me!
